Now a days, it seems like everything is made outside of the USA.  Although this does take jobs outside of the USA, and causes other problems I wont go into, most products that are imported are decent products.  However, some things are just meant to be made in the USA, and horse saddles are one of those things.  All saddles made outside of the USA are immitations of the saddles that are made here.  The originals are made here, so the foreign suppliers are copying those originals.

Also consider the fact that foreign saddle factories know that they will only sale their saddles if the saddles retail at a much lower price point.  Therefore, they cut corners at every turn to save money and keep the cost down.  Both you & your horse will suffer for those cut corners.  Not only are the materials on foreign made saddles ungenuine, the saddles are not well engineered and not made with you or your horse in mind.
